Our Story
"When Partin's floor Sanding was started it was all done by hand" - Freddie Partin

Back in 1965 Freddie's father had a vision to create his own business serving the community of Durham and beyond. He started out scraping every floor with just a hand scraper and refinishing it. Freddie started with him when he was 14 years old and 25 years later he took over the business.
Freddie has run the business for over 30 years and being ready to retire started working to teach his son Brandon and his friend Ethan everything they need to know in order to take over the business. At the end of 2025 Brandon and Ethan took the helm. Brandon is carrying on his family legacy.
